Ice Cube Gets His Name on a Goodyear Blimp


It didn't read “Ice Cube's a pimp,” but close enough.

It's National Good Day Day, as January 20, 1992 is the day Ice Cube supposedly wrote his famous song “It Was a Good Day” about, as determined by comedian Donovan Strain. Ice Cube celebrated by teaming up with Goodyear to fly this blimp over South Central L.A. to raise money for A Place Called Home, an organization that works with at-risk youth.
