This election has made a lot of people rethink their priorities and plans for the future, including Compton (sorry, Bompton) ambassador and rapper YG, who rose to fame off a song about a one-night stand called “Toot It and Boot It.” But recently YG has released a slate of political songs to rage against racism and police brutality, not least of which is the anthem for many Americans for the next four years, “Fuck Donald Trump.” You’re sure to hear “FDT” at a YG show, along with other neo–G-funk jams from his most recent album, Still Brazy, including the single “Why You Always Hatin?”, whose co-star, Kamaiyah, will join YG at this show, along with YG collaborators RJ and Sad Boy.
