Wed., May 17, 6-7:30 p.m. 2017

Location Info:

Olvera Street
845 N. Alameda St.
Los Angeles, CA  90012-2901
Olvera Street has a long history of offering great food. It's the oldest part of town, according to many metrics, but the great restaurant renaissance started in 1930, when the city and private donors led by Christine Sterling rebuilt the "puebla" into a destination, heavy on the food. This walking tour visits the restaurants, stands and stalls that keep the visitors coming. You'll be eating taquitos, for sure. Everything is included in the price except for drinks, so bring some cash if you want a margarita or two.
