Queen are one of the few bands that have a way of meaning something different to everyone. Released between 1973 and 1995, their 15 studio albums shattered barriers by bringing together influences as wide-ranging as heavy metal, symphonic rock, funk, jazz and rockabilly. Given the band’s dynamic stage persona and their musical and stylistic contributions to arena rock, a celebration of Queen’s legacy would seem a musically apt way to ring in a new year. Queen Nation, billed as “the world’s best Queen tribute band,” will perform their 90-minute retrospective, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions” and “Fat Bottomed Girls” for fans of the iconic hits, “Keep Yourself Alive” and “Stone Cold Crazy” for devotees of the band’s earliest work, and “Love of My Life” and “Dragon Attack” for lovers of their many memorable album cuts.
