Join the L.A. Conservancy and LACLA for a special screening of the 1966 Cuban classic "La muerte de un burócrata" at the Palace Theatre!
This hilarious film tells the story of a widow who discovers that she needs her late husband’s labor card in order to claim her pension… the same labor card she buried with him.
A free Q&A session about the theatre will follow the screening. Stay in your seat to learn more about the history and architecture!
This screening is part of Last Remaining Seats, the L.A. Conservancy’s series of classic films in historic theatres, now in its 31st season. For full lineup, visit laconservancy.org/last-remaining-seats.
Tickets are $22 for the general public and $18 for Conservancy members. Proceeds support the Conservancy’s efforts to preserve historic places throughout L.A. County.
