There is an explosive culinary revolution taking place and the Los Angeles Times leads the pack! Known as the most, vibrant, iconic metropolis under the sun, the booming LA food scene serves as the perfect hub for a one of a kind culinary experience. For the first time in its 134-year history, The Los Angeles Times Announces “Food Bowl” Launching May 2017; The first ever culinary experience to discover LA in a new way through 31 days of food.
The Los Angeles Times Food Bowl will be held annually, inviting food lovers from around the world to experience and celebrate the diversity of LA’s culture and cuisine. Inspired by Pulitzer prize winning Food Critic Jonathan Gold’s love for foods in a bowl, Los Angeles Times is combining the best eateries of LA into a metaphoric mixing bowl, sharing the collective passion for food in the city of LA through 31 curated days of food.
Leading Restaurant’s, Chef’s, Bars, Cafes, Charities, Hotels, and markets are invited to participate by holding a special event or experience. Registered events will be listed in the FOOD BOWL program that will be distributed in the Los Angeles Times on Saturday, April 1, 2017, online at lafoodbowl.com and throughout Los Angeles. LA Food Bowl Participants will benefit from a $5-million marketing and public relations campaign across the Los Angeles Times network, social media and partners.
