Something Wicked This Way Comes. Iced Earth’s brand of metal is very much for those that prefer the fancier flights of bands like Iron Maiden. The group’s last three albums — most recently 2017’s Incorruptible — have seen ex–Into Eternity vocalist Stu Block assume mic duties, lending gravitas to Schaffer’s bombastic songwriting compositions by displaying a range capable of re-creating Barlow’s huskier vocals while also hitting Rob Halford–level high notes.
