The 17th edition of this annual neighborhood festival has a little bit of something for everyone, crammed into one late afternoon and evening and spread along several blocks of Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock. Orgone lay down funky soul, whereas Dengue Fever take you deep into the heart of darkness with their trippy Cambodian pop reveries. Mark de Clive-Lowe reconfigures electronic dance music with hints of breezy jazz, while La Chamba stirs up percussive-heavy cumbia grooves. Inventive chanteuse Low Leaf crafts arty pop constructions, and Leftover Cuties charmingly revive retro cabaret pop. Kotolan are stranger still, with an exotically dreamy blend of jazz and Latin rhythms. Salt Petal, Fernanda Ulibarri and Cuicani also explore Latin pop but in distinctly different ways, while klezmer combo Mostly Kosher and French balladeer Edith Crash rediscover the old world.

With Orgone, Dengue Fever, Jungle Fire, Tutu Sweeney & the Brothers Band, Swarvy, Batala, La Chamba, Boogaloo Assassins, Cuicani, Kotolan, Entre Mujeres, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Low Leaf & the Ascension Crew, Dhara World Music, GENR8R, Sin Color, Reverend Tall Tree, Leftover Cuties, We the Folk, Harrison, Lipka & Winsor, Mostly Kosher, Edith Crash, Fernanda Ulibarri, Dan Olivo, WeAretheBigBang, Sugar Rum Tantrum, Paper Pilots, Salt Petal, The V.U. and others.
