This family-friendly, classic and modern, traditional yet universal story of the human heart based on Ts’ao Hsueh Ch’in’s romance novel —a blend of realism and the supernatural—centers around the love story of the protagonist Pao-yu and his cousin, Black Jade, and details the decline of the Chia family during the early Ching Dynasty (1644 - 1912). Performance Schedule: Saturday, April 22: Parts I & II, Saturday, May 20:-Parts III & IV, Saturday, May 27-Parts I, II, III, IV Funded, in part, by The City of Inglewood, through an Inglewood Growing Artists Performed Project (IGAPP) Creative Services contract .
