Caution: If you cull your wisdom from the Jonas Brothers, or look to Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus to show you the way, then this evening is not for you. But if you crave an evening of compelling anecdotes, levity and historic insight into the art of success and surviving, then "Jules Feiffer in Conversation with Carl Reiner" is for you. In case you've been listening to your Hannah Montana album for too long, 81-year-old Feiffer's subversive editorial cartoons first appeared in this paper's daddy, the Village Voice, and continued to run for 42 years. The Comic Book Hall of Famer's satiric voice has also been heard through his work as a playwright (Little Murders), children's book author (Bark! George), screenwriter (Carnal Knowledge) and now in his memoir, Backing Into Forward; and if you don't know anything about 88-year-old actor-producer-director Reiner, well, then, you probably shouldn't be reading this paper. But in case you can comprehend some of the easy words, these two troopers can teach you some lessons that Demi Lovato couldn't begin to grok.
