Aloha, brah! Grab your grass skirt and the kids and head on down to Granada Beach for the Long Beach Ho'olaule'a, aka Tiki Beach Festival. It'll be just like a slice of Hawaii broke off and floated over to the mainland. In addition to live music and dancing, activities at the free event include an "island marketplace," traditional arts and crafts such as tiki carving, outrigger canoe rides, Crazy Al Evans' Tiki Museum, even a Sunday morning Hula Praise & Worship Service. Also on hand: "Taste of Aloha" Hawaiian food and the "Night of Fire" torch lighting, fire knife dance and fire walk, plus performances by Hula Halau 'O Lilinoe, Mahana's Polynesian Revue and Lokelani's Rhythmn of the Islands.
Sat., Aug. 20, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., Aug. 21, 6 a.m.-8 p.m., 2011
