DANCE OF THE WILD HORSES
One of L.A.'s most inventive and illuminating choreographers, Rosanna Gamson and her troupe World Wide return, with the premiere of their highly anticipated Tov . Gamson's latest affirms her masterful ability to integrate physical movement, spoken word and vocal music to recount the tale of the tarpan -- an extinct species of Eurasian wild horse that was genetically "reassembled" in the 1930s through back-breeding of domestic horses -- incorporating the fate of Polish Jewry in World War II and Gamson's own Polish-Jewish ancestors who were horse traders from Szczecin.
Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8:30 p.m.; Sun., March 21, 3 p.m. Starts: March 18. Continues through March 27, 2010
