DANCE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT
For the unusual finale to World AIDS Day, UCLA dance, music, spoken word, fashion and visual artists are being given the evening's theme only 48 hours before this show, providing a seriously short window for those creative juices to flow. Organizers in the World Arts & Cultures Department hope the resulting concert, titled 48 Hours to Action, will "affirm healthy sexuality, encourage open communication and underscore the importance of HIV-status awareness." A statement from campus artists that carries a message to be shared with the larger community.
