The Haunted Hayride isn't your cheapest option for Halloween thrills, but can you really put a price on have the bejesus scared out of you? And when was the last time you were in the woods at night? And does L.A. evenâ¨have woods? Apparently, we do, though you have to go to Calabasas to find them. ThereÂ¹s no escaping the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. As the press release taunts, "There is no way to turn around, hide or run ahead of the scares.Â² It's a 20-minute trek from scare to scare, You can also sit around a campfire and hear ghost stories while you tremble and try to enjoy s'mores, hot apple cider, candy apples and more. A haunted carnival is also there to finish you off.
