"A Day of Weimar: Three Illustrated Lectures on Sex and the Occult in Prewar Berlin" takes place in one fascinating, fact-filled afternoon-evening. Mel Gordon a professor of theater arts at the University of California, Berkeley, who's authored 13 books and written extensively on pop culture in illuminating historical fashion will focus on sex and the occult in prewar Berlin. You don't have to dress the part but you may want to, as the day starts with "Voluptuous Panic The Erotic World of Weimar Berlin" (4 p.m.), followed by "Erik Jan Hanussen, Hitler's Jewish Clairvoyant"; (6 p.m.) and "Anita Berber, the Dancer of Depravity" (8 p.m.).
