An entirely different concept for a wedding that is based on hature and greens. It is indeed a rustic-themed venue with the woods all around and a sandy floor. It is great for couples who desire for a change and want something unique and uncommon for their special day out of the hustle and bustle of the urban. The natural ambience stirs about a breath of fresh air for the guests with the natural breeze and the scent of tropical trees. Tune up some classical music and voila! Hope the raccoons decide to stay home that day though! A definite choice for a memorable and an out-of-the-box wedding.

The Oak Grove at Ribbit Tree & Plant Nursery
Hold your nuptials in an ancient California Live Oak grove just 40 minutes from Hollywood, on picturesque Old Topanga Road. There, the owners of Ribbit Tree and Plant Nursery have created a charming amphitheater in their 1.5-acre private woods. Set with rough-hewn hardwood benches and stool-like sanded stumps, it's a perfect bucolic backdrop for couples tired of overdone city weddings. Owner Lori Dovi calls it "rustic chic," but you needn't go entirely Arcadian: You can hire your own caterer or BBQ service, as well as your own DJ or band. For various fees, Ribbit provides add-ons such as VIP portable potties and chairs seating up to 275 people. In August, Melrose Place star Grant Show and his fiancé, actor Katherine LaNasa, put Ribbit's Oak Grove on the map, exchanging vows there just weeks after Show presented LaNasa with a 4-carat diamond. 301 Old Topanga Canyon Road, Topanga.
