Ah, Hollywood. What a glamorous thing you are to gaze upon. Especially at night, when the streets twinkle with revelry and the houses in the hills glitter all the way up the mountainside. But in order to get this view you often have to go to Hollywood and wade through the sea of tourists to a ritzy, crowded, lofty hotel bar. This problem is solved, however, by The Roof on Wilshire, a drinkery that sits above the Hotel Wilshire in the Miracle Mile. It boasts the same view but, while swanky, is not nearly as, well, Hollywood as its counterparts.
