See Change at Tom Bradley International Terminal

Most people are in a rush to catch a flight at LAX, but taking your time could prove useful: a new video art installation, See Change, has taken flight at the Tom Bradley International Terminal. The installation takes place over a four-hour loop of video pieces, some lasting a few minutes, playing on either a 25-screen media wall or a 90-foot linear film strip. It's a sort of infinitely programmable digital canvas, all controlled by a hidden art–traffic control office. Some of the video art pieces feature scenes of L.A., while others focus on the art of travel — one eye-popping piece takes a suitcase's-eye view of the luggage conveyor belt winding around the terminal. Bon voyage, and remember to slow down to look around. 380 World Way, Westchester. lawa.org.
