While every outpost of the impossibly cheap chain store has a slightly different selection from the next, the H&M at the Beverly Center is in a class by itself. For one thing, it's huge: When Forever 21 moved into the old movie theater space on the top floor of the mall earlier this year, H&M expanded into the old Forever 21 store without giving up its long-term lot directly across. The extra real estate has only improved what was already the best and most varied H&M inventory in the city. It seems to carry items available at no other H&M, with its evening wear (a lot of it knocked off direct from European runways) and lingerie/hoisery options being particularly choice. Shopping here offers the best of both worlds: You get the thrill of nabbing (almost) one-of-a-kind gems, without vintage shopping's usual frustrations (namely, limited sizing and weird stains). 8500 Beverly Blvd.; (310) 855-1009, beverlycenter.com/directory/handm.
