Nestled in a residential, tree-lined Culver City neighborhood, Livingreen is the Tiffany's of home design and raw building materials — only it's green, sustainable and healthy. Half of the Zenlike store is filled with gorgeous handmade furniture featuring recycled materials, as well as organic-cotton bedding, energy-efficient lighting and nursery accessories with nontoxic finishes. The stuffed toy animals are made from recycled sweaters. The other half of the store is devoted to items such as low-flow toilets, solar water heaters and nontoxic cleaning supplies, as well as tiles made from plant-based materials, and bamboo flooring.
