We are very fortunate to still have The Vista in this day and age! There are not too many “neighborhood theatres” still standing in the United Sates! The Vista was my theatre of choice when I moved here from Chicago to Palos Verdes in the very late 70s. Long may it live!
Cool, hipsters see movies at the Vista. So does everyone else in the neighborhood. No mention of the 6 feet of legroom? The manager who always dresses up during opening weekend? Popcorn that's actually freshly popped? Or most importantly, and why they beat the ArcLight, the prices. It's what, 8-9 bucks for a night show and $5 for a matinee?
