This is extraordonarilly rich and generous cuisine, with nuances from spices that at unfamiliar and enticing. Generous flavors prepared by someone with a generous hart -- highly recommended as an experience off of the beaten path for LA foodies.

Much of the offerings at Tara's Himalayan Cuisine seem vaguely Indian, but with some spicing differences. The one stand-out is the Nepalese-Tibetan staple, the momo, which are dumplings much like gyozas.
