PASADENA PLAYHOUSE IS CLOSING February 7at the conclusion of of its current production of Camelot, the L.A. Times reported today. 37 employees will be out of work. Bankruptcy filing is an option. The Board of the mid-size theater is working on a long-term strategy to keep the Playhouse functioning over the long-haul rather than existing "hand to mouth."

FIRST ANNUAL LATC PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL starts this weekend at 514 S. Spring Street, downtown.
