Before its official theatrical run, USC hosts a free screening of A Long Way Down at the Ray Stark Family Theatre at 7 p.m. In this adaptation of Nick Hornby’s novel, four strangers find themselves on the roof of a London building, all intending to commit suicide. They agree to postpone for another six weeks and end up in a friendship like no other. You have to make a reservation, at cinema.usc.edu, but it does not guarantee admission — it’s first come, first served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 9
