L.A. Weekly Seeking Arts Writers in Dance, Classical Music, Opera and More
Are you going to see L.A. Opera's Billy Budd next year? We might have a job for you.
L.A. Weekly is seeking new freelance arts critics and reporters for both print and online, in these particular areas:
- classical music
- architecture and design
We're looking for writers whose prose is clear and fun to read, who can identify interesting people and trends that haven't been written about before, who can offer real insight into a particular beat and who can explain to a lay reader why they should be excited about the arts.
Please email your three best writing samples, a résumé and a quick note telling us about yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also tell us what area listed above most interests you -- published work writing about that discipline is a requirement.
