Fashion Week Diary: Upper Class French Girls in Samora
Designer Samora showed a Paris-themed collection for Spring 09. Dresses with slim bodices and flowing, ruffly, pleated skirts. High-waisted pencil skirts. Palazzo pants. Again, pink seems to be a color for spring, but when isn't it? Samora's clothes this season are sort of what I imagine every American guy's fantasy about what rich, upperclass French women look like.
She played Parisian accordion music for the show. There was a bike with a basket of flowers at the top of the catwalk and a poster of the Eiffel Tower.
(this suit is fabulous, but you have to have really skinny thighs to get away with that button and piping detailing)
