Book Covers As Art: Oh No, Not Pretentious At All
Books, remember those? Screw concert posters, this service, by Penguin Books, is nifty. It's called Art Meets Print. It is perfect for serious bibliophiles, graphic design nerds, poets, minimalists, people who can't decide what to put on their walls, pretentious literary types, and any combination thereof. Penguin makes large prints out of their classic book covers. The prints are on cotton canvas, and you can pick the size. The service has been available for a year or so, and unless "Coming Soon" is the name of a classic work of fiction I haven't yet heard of, it appears they're still adding titles.
Imagine this Sylvia Plath book cover, blown up huge. On your wall. Depressing, but cool.
