What are YOU thinking about?
  • What are YOU thinking about?

A recent study conducted at the University of Granada (random?) asked 2,250 Spanish hetero men and women about their sexual fantasies and found that, regardless of "Fifty Shades" obsession, women's intimate desires included more than their fair share of domination scenarios.

And guys were more than happy to imagine swapping wives, doing the hot MILF at the playground, or gathering together a group of nymphos to go at it no holds barred.

Doesn't seem to be too much of a culture shift here...ask any of your male and female friends and (especially after a margarita or three) they'll be more than happy to admit their dirty minds have room for very similar sex scenarios.

The only thing constant in life is that buying condoms is always an awkward experience. In the beginning of one's sexual adolescence it starts out as a downright embarrassing process and only becomes less so with age. Maybe it's because we often don't even call them by their real names, instead only referring to them as ones, or thingies, or supplies.

In the early 1980's, Mike Cockrill and his collaborator Judge Hughes came up with the quintessential NSFW comic named The White Papers. The 128-page black and white book in the form of a wordless graphic novel, meaning it was one big volume as opposed to an ongoing series, went on to become a cult classic.

Bleicher Gallery in Los Angeles is playing host to a naughty exhibit named 21st Century Sex. The show plays with the idea of what intercourse will be like throughout the rest of the 00s in playful and theoretical ways. And while some may argue that a handful of work on the wall is pornography, upon deeper investigation it's not actually the case. I spoke with the curator of the exhibit, Shaye Nelson, over the phone to get the skinny on the show. Or should I say BBW to keep it more fitting to the theme.

By now, everyone's heard about Frank Ocean. In case by some small chance you haven't, here's a recap. The singer is a member of Los Angeles alternative hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, better known as OFWGKTA or simply Odd Future. Ocean is the soulful crooner of the outfit, and his solo material has become the stuff of legends. He likes Coldplay, Radiohead and Prince. And yes, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that he kinda, sorta came out of the closet a couple of weeks before his album dropped via his Tumblr page. But what isn't mentioned in his confessional is that his instant classic, channel ORANGE, is the soundtrack to your bedroom experiences.

Ocean's smooth, seductive tenor has brought legions of fans out of the woodwork, singing and swooning to his ambitious lyrics and brand of R&B. By now everyone knows of the 24-year-olds lyrical prowess, however, when combined with his vocals, he can make the panties drop at the snap of a finger or when he hits the high notes.

Even when he's mocking people, like on "Super Rich Kids," Ocean makes it sound oh so good that you don't care if you're the subject of his scorn. That's the hallmark of a great album: the ability to make people lose themselves in the music and inhibit sexual activity. That's what the singer does well.

Kevin Llewellyn's paintings of female fetish models doing things like sticking paper leaves in their pussies would generally be considered pretty dark by the average person. However, to edgy celebrities like Nikki Sixx and Dennis Rodman, it's nothing too out of the ordinary. I mean, Rodman got married to Carmen Electra while wearing a dress and legend has it that Nikki Sixx once injected whisky into his veins during the pinnacle of Motley Crue's success. Anyway, Llewellyn's Caravaggio-inspired portraits [that's a super snobby way of saying classical as opposed to modern] felt at home on the walls of celebrity-tattoo-artist Kat Von D's gallery on La Brea named WONDERLAND LA.

In countries around the world, police are in the habit of confiscating condoms from suspected prostitutes. These condoms are then used as evidence in criminal cases. This happens in places such as Russia, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. You might be surprised -- though, really, you shouldn't be -- that this even happens right here in the United States.

Recently the New York State Assembly took up a measure that would prohibit the practice of confiscating condoms from alleged prostitutes and using them as evidence. Not too surprisingly, the measure wasn't even voted on.

In doing so, the Assembly failed to take national (and dare we say, international) leadership on an issue that affects some of the most vulnerable members of society.

Oh my, sole!

He's a boob guy, that one's a derriere dude...oh, and him? He's got a weird thing with feet.

Fetishes are usually associated with negative perception and attitudes, but this "freaky" sexual attraction to feet mounts over all types related to body parts, dominating at 47 percent, which mostly men possess.

Flies may not moan and groan during sex like humans, that you should know, but that doesn't mean that they're stone cold silent. Believe it or not, during sex, female flies make click-like sounds with their wings, attracting attention that could potentially cause their deaths by predatory bats. Researchers have found these mating moans can be heard by bats hungry for a meal.

This is bad news for the flies -- but a bonus for wild Natterer's bats who end up swallowing a double-double of copulating insects.

Some guys like Grindr a lot.
  • Some guys like Grindr a lot.
Brace yourselves, dear readers of London: Grindr is crashing. And just in time for hot Olympic man meat wandering the city. Conspiracy? Probably not.

For those not in the know, Grindr is an app that instantly connects men looking (mostly) for anonymous hookups with other men. Grindr made headlines instantly upon debut in 2009. You browse local men, tap on their picture to read a profile and then decide to chat and / or share locations. Think of it as a 21st Century digital bathhouse. In layman's terms, it's a penile GPS system. A parallel service, Blendr, is for general audiences.
