Most importantly, In a World... is Bell's first crack at finding her own voice as a filmmaker. If ladies can't voice trailers, at least they can be heard in the stories female directors decide to tell. Which will happen first: a second female director winning an Academy Award or a second female voice-over actress landing a blockbuster theatrical trailer campaign?

Same reason why men with high-pitched voices don't do movie trailers.
Production companies tend to prefer deeper voices for movie trailers. Obviously a man is more likely to have that type of voice than a woman.
Because they suck at. Yeah, I said it, women are not equal to men. Also, they have different parts. This isn't news, but it's shocking to liberals.
Fucking who cares....this is a completely feminized society now. And it's STILL not enough. The NFL: folks cant even hit anymore(it's not "safe"). Frmale teachers routinely molest the shit out of male students and get the fuck away with it. Every mere look at any woman in public is subject to Gloria Allred lawsuit. Men are fucking depressed wuss shells of themselves. But still they want....more. Maybe we should simply all set ourselves on fire, but then that would be macho and not PC.
One reason I cannot listen to women sports, can't stand those deep voiced dyke announcers.
Because when women talk men zone out. I'm not saying it's right but that's what happens. hahaha
trailer voices are becoming a cliche of the past anyway - it's an instant sign of cheese now. so this is all moot. Interestingly the most notable female voice overs in trailers are for horros movies hah
