Imagine High School Musical: The Play. Now imagine it with an all-girl percussion orchestra, a glamorous emcee, an indie choreographer, large-scale pillow fights, bad haircuts, drag makeup, ghost stories, romantic disasters, improvised songs based on your own tales of adolescent woe and, naturally, its own original perfume scent. TBD: A Musical Play and Video by Everyone Who Comes, has been under way for a little while, so Friday night's "premiere" is really more of a final workshop and public wrap party. Throughout the collaborative, improvisational undertaking, led by multiplatform artist Austin Young, the public has been invited to participate in a variety of DIY musical numbers. Honoring the showbiz archetype ("You're going out there a kid, but you're coming back a star!"), whoever showed up was cast and drafted into service on its production team. Filmed for later editing into a full-length musical movie, the workshops culminate with tonight's grand finale: the "Slumber Party" number and release of the show's original limited-edition bottled scent, "Accident," produced in cooperation with the Institute for Art and Olfaction. All you have to do is RSVP to get a complete list of instructions, expectations and suggested/must-bring props. Makeup mirrors, bad wigs, pajamas, condoms, hair rollers, Ouija boards, bras for stuffing and compelling sleepover stories encouraged; a willingness to sing, dance, act and play show-and-tell appreciated; and flashlights, toilet paper, feather pillows, pastel clothing and chutzpah mandatory. There is no audience; if you show up, you're in the show. You have been warned. Mack Sennett Studios, 1215 Bates Ave., Silver Lake; Fri., Aug. 9, 2 p.m.-mid.
