Toronto-born Indian stand-up Russell Peters is one of Canada's biggest comics, but he's been living in L.A. for years. You may recall seeing his two Hollywood Hills homes — the current one has an elevator — on MTV Cribs. Peters has been pretty busy since his last world tour, 2010's the Green Card Tour; that same year, he published his memoir, Call Me Russell, and in 2011, he hosted A Russell Peters Christmas Special (featuring the Great White North's other exports Michael Buble and Pamela Anderson as the Virgin Mary), on which he joked: "When I was growing up, all the Christmas specials never looked like me. Rudolph looked like me. I was convinced he was Indian because he had a shiny red thing on the center of his face." The funnyman has been crafting strictly new material for his new Notorious tour, but Peters' fans are most familiar with his Indian versus whitey jokes that includes pinning Asians against each other. In 2011, he even accepted a Razzie award on behalf of the "entire brown community" and director M. Night Shyamalan for worst picture for The Last Airbender.
