As summer wanes, the beach remains Santa Monica's top attraction, but August also draws dance fans to the bay city for the annual MixMatch Dance Festival. For this sixth edition, organizer Amanda Hart of HartPulse Dance hosts two weekends brimming with a representative assortment of L.A.'s spectrum of eclectic dance styles. The 50 participants range from familiar faces to new arrivals and a few out of town visitors. The second offers three more jam-packed shows with a mostly different roster of performers.
