More About

There's no better name for a dancer than "Millepied," and there's no shortage of dancing around what's happening at MOCA, so why not stage a dance performance to celebrate the meta of the moment? "Framework" is a cycle of three site-specific dance performances in collaboration with L.A. Dance Project, dancer-choreographer Benjamin Millepied and L.A. urban collage artist Mark Bradford, featuring Millepied and Amanda Wells of Stephen Petronio Company, in the space where Rudolf Stingel's participatory Untitled (2007-2012) is being exhibited; the dancers leave their marks in the signature Stingel white wall-to-wall carpeting installed for the show, while Bradford narrates. A testament to the ephemerality of art, it is movement that moves you even as you see it fade before your eyes. MOCA, 250 S. Grand Ave., dwntwn.; Thurs., July 19, 7 p.m.; free. (213) 626-6222, moca.org.
Thu., July 19, 7 p.m., 2012
