That doesn't mean you have to come as the naked zombie who ate the drifter's face in Miami — but with attendees who take the definition of a "scandalous masquerade" at its most literal, you never know just what to expect from one of these prideful fetish-y balls. At the very least, it's a chance to scare the squares from Getmethefuckouttahere, Iowa, who stumble all over themselves at CityWalk in search of the essence of Hollywood — of course, the flipside of that is, with the way you're dressed, they might think you're from a movie. A direct-to-laserdisc movie. So cool it with the latex, stop overplucking your eyebrows, suck in that gut and dress to depress — because the escalators at CityWalk are the longest runway imaginable leading into a night that's all about heads held high, not common tasteless ego.
