When I was in culinary school a bunch of us volunteered to work at an event she put on. She was horribly unprepared, forgetting to bring equipment and not ensuring that our workspace was ready. I mean, if you're making foccacia, put sheet pans on your checklist! All we heard was "Oops! Well, just make-do! You'll have to improvise!" She hardly brought anything of her own, and used the tools we brought. She stole my whisk! She borrowed it, and then "lost" it in the space of 3 hours. On top of it all, she was rude to me & my classmates. Her paid staff was so condescending to us, and we were so fed up with the bullshit, we left before cleaning, and ratted her out to our Chef-Instructor back at the school, who was horrified at her unprofessionalism.
