Mama, start the car -- cantaloupe fresca! I hope it's as good as the one I always got in the Mission District in San Francisco (to which I'd sometimes always add a few shots of vodka when I took an order home). And calabacitas, one of my favorites and another item that's a little harder to get around here than it should be. (I always order it at Yxta Cocina Mexicana.) I'd heard of Guisados but used to go to a less-than-thrilling place in Texas with the same name, so I didn't keep this one in active memory. I'll make a point of stopping by sometime soon based on a very appealing review.
