College students all over the country are moving on campus, building furniture from Ikea and learning that dorm food ain't home cookin'. As inevitable as the freshmen 15, thousands of these students will hang up a poster of Bob Marley smoking a fat doobie. And sadly for some, Bob Marley's image will become synonymous with getting numbingly high and wasting an expensive education. But these college students are not aware of marijuana's role in the Rastafari religion. They're not aware of Marley's deep involvement in politics. They're not aware of the stunning and subtle beauty of Marley's lyrics or his heroic revolutionary actions.
