I'm inclined to believe that only the child Ms, Badu shares w/DOC would be relevant to mention (in this article). Listing the names of her other children, and the names of their fathers seems to lean toward the sensationalistic (or at least the salacious). Calling Ms. Badu "the baby mama of rap" in your follow-up piece is blatantly misogynistic, and a slur against an artist who would not allow you to violate her privacy.
The fact that you dared to preempt such comments w/praise for Ms. Badu's work, doesn't make the insulting statements any less offensive or obvious.
I guess it was just a matter of time before the writers who cover artists that routinely disparage women and their sexuality, start to exhibit the same tendencies.
