Keirda Bahruth's Bob and the Monster, about the turbulent life of former L.A. post-punk fixture (and current Celebrity Rehab addiction counselor) Bob Forrest, has its official L.A. premiere at 8 p.m. at the Silent Movie Theatre. Stick around for a Q&A with Bahruth, followed by a performance by Forrest and his band, Thelonious Monster.

The American Cinematheque's Nicholas Ray centennial continues at the Aero Theatre with Joan Crawford in Johnny Guitar and classic L.A. noir In a Lonely Place, starring Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame, at 7:30. Ray is most famous for Rebel Without a Cause, but don't miss this opportunity to check out his other work.

The Color of Pomegranates, artist Sergei Parajanov's dreamlike retelling of the life of 18th-century Armenian poet Sayat Nova, screens at LACMA at 7:30 p.m.

Errol Morris' Tabloid, which follows an ambitious pageant queen who may or may not have kidnapped her Mormon crush, moves to the Monica 4-Plex this weekend, exiting the Royal, the Playhouse 7 and the Town Center 5.

Get over hump day with Bill Cunningham New York, Richard Press' documentary about an 80-year-old New York Times fashion photographer and the bicycle he loves. It's at the New Beverly tonight at 7:30 p.m.
