In Federico Fellini’s Nights of Cabiria, screening tonight at the Aero (7:30 p.m.), Fellini’s wife, Giulietta Masina, plays a chipper prostitute whose boyfriends keep trying to kill her. The Aero also will show Fellini’s 8½ on Saturday.

Fri., June 3
Radley Metzger’s Camille 2000 (1969) spends a night at the Billy Wilder Theater (7:30 p.m.). This rabidly adult retelling of Alexandre Dumas, fils’ 1848 novel La Dame aux Camélias replaces courtesans with club kids and balls with fetish parties. Campy and erotic, Camille features digitally restored footage enhanced by Piero Piccioni’s loopy, acid-tinged score. Metzger will introduce the film, and an after party follows in the Hammer Museum courtyard.

The Tim Burton retrospective continues at LACMA. Tonight, catch Mars Attacks at 5 p.m., followed by Pee-wee’s Big Adventure at 7:30. Let Paul Reubens cavort, caper and frolic his way into your heart again for the very first time.
