Here's a tip if you're going to this year's Cajun & Blues Music Festival in Simi Valley: Always put down your beer before you attempt to eat your crawfish. Trust us. Do expect killer music by Elvin Bishop (pictured), Tracy Nelson, Buckwheat Zydeco, Maria Muldaur and loads more. Without washing your hands, take your crawfishy paws over to the dance floor for a lesson in zydeco moves and then head over to the craft tent to make the craziest glittery mask you can glue together and join the parade that winds through the crowd. Maybe someone will give you a Wetnap. Or better still, get another order of crawfish for the ride home — the cats'll love you!
