Cinefamily tributes the great British satirist Chris Morris with a three-day run of his recent feature directorial debut, Four Lions, and evenings dedicated to his landmark series, including The Daily Show precursor The Day Today.

Also: Non-winning Oscar nominees are about to disappear from theaters. If you've been meaning to see 127 Hours, Blue Valentine or Rabbit Hole, tonight would be a good time to make it happen. Charles Ferguson's Oscar-winning feature documentary Inside Job is still playing at the Music Hall, at least through March 10.

Friday

The UCLA Film and Television Archive kicks off its monthlong biennial Festival of Preservation, featuring local premieres of all of its recent restorations. The opening-night film is Robert Altman's Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, with Kathryn Altman and Karen Black in person. The rest of the fest is incredibly wide-ranging: Mark your calendars for Barbara Loden's experimental feminist landmark Wanda, early films from Anthony Mann and Douglas Sirk, a tribute to 1920s child star Baby Peggy, a program of "soundies" ('40s-era music videos from coin-operated jukeboxes) and much more.

Saturday

If Tron: Legacy's seamlessly slick vision of the world inside the machine had you longing for the scrappy charm of the 1982 original, come to the Aero tonight to test your nostalgia. A 70 mm print screens at 7:30, followed by a discussion with writer-director Steven Lisberger and much of the film's visual crew.

Wednesday

Secret Sunshine, a prizewinner at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival directed by Korean filmmaker Lee Chang-dong (Poetry), screens tonight at the Egyptian at 7:30 — a one-night stand in lieu of a local theatrical engagement. If you have any interest in contemporary Korean art cinema, this should be your must-see of the week.
