I live around the corner from Smoke City. I am a native texan and really appreciate all they have done to make the neighborhood smell like burning live oak and hormone free meat. It my favorite place to eat in Los Angeles. Give it 50 years and this store will have all the credibility of Blacks or Smitty's in Lockhart. They put their time in learning the right way to do it. Low and slow my friends. The BBQ is better than good. It is immortal.
Langer's smokes AND steams its pastramis. There should be a clear difference from pastrami that's only been smoked.
SCM has the juiciest ribs, to die for mac n cheese and spicy cream corn. My bf's the Mayor here on foursquare cause we are here for lunch & dinner :)
