THE JOEL STORY

Now that we are in an age where at least one primetime hit show self-identifies as a musical (though we've got a long way to go toward backing that with original song content), one can only hope we'll continue to see the likes of those they call the "triple threats" -- actors and actresses with considerable singing and dancing skill on top of acting chops, something once prized as a necessary trait for anyone hoping to make A-list status. Of course, many of the original guard are still with us, including the one and only Joel Grey. The Tony and Oscar winner for Cabaretsits down at the Paley Center for An Evening With Joel Grey, discussing the impact of his television roles on his career, including appearances with Steve Allen and Eddie Cantor, up through to his Emmy nom for Gary David Goldberg's short-lived, beloved Brooklyn Bridge and his recent stints on Ozand House, to name but a few.
