There's never been another comedy in comedydom like 1980's Airplane! to feature Ethel Merman, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Barbara Billingsley and four of the greatest deadpan actors (Peter Graves, Robert Stack, Lloyd Bridges and Leslie "Don't Call Me Shirley" Nielsen). Retooled!!! and watch 11 actors from the ACE Classic Movie Theatre Players, including Oscar-nominated Robert Forester, take on 69 characters as they go through the entire script. If you close your eyes, the park's lush, outdoor setting might feel like a crowded airport where even Hare Krishnas get harassed. S.
