GEEKY OUEVRE INVADES L.A.

If there is one voice-of-the-people, Dylan-esque figure of the modern geek world, it's Jonathan Coulton. The Brooklyn native and Yale alum rose to popularity in internet circles thanks to his deliriously witty lyrics and infectious melodies. His Thing A Week project, in which he cranked out a song a week over the course of one year, is a pure delight, particularly the tech-head anthem "Code Monkey" and a rather joyous sing-a-long about a zombie attack titled "Re: Your Brains." ("All we wanna do is eat your brains!/We're not unreasonable/I mean, no one's gonna eat your eyes.") D.C. comedy duo Paul & Storm are on warm-up duties.
