The Hammer's successful Open Projector Night returns, inviting all you budding Tarantinos to bring your work on DVD, Super-8, VHS or whatever -- as long as it's no more than 10 minutes long, please. Though it's not exactly The Gong Show, the "more showdown than showcase" event, with Jason and Randy Sklar as your hilarious hosts, draws an audience ready to rip you apart or anoint you the next Soderbergh. It's first-come, first-served, and prizes will be awarded. And there's free popcorn and cash bar -- if only it were the other way around.
