Author Audrey Niffenegger reads from Her Fearful Symmetry at Skylight Books. The graphic novelist and author of the cosmological weeper The Time Traveler's Wife received a reported $5 million advance for her latest book. Set in London's Highgate Cemetery, the novel's heroine returns from the beyond after dying of cancer, to haunt the people who mourn her -- sometimes acidly and sometimes joyously; apparently, there's never a dull moment for the invisible and the all-seeing.
