Artistic director Natasha Middleton and her Media City Ballet have assembled a lineup of six local troupes for a program celebrating A World of Holiday Dance . In a contemporary vein, Blue 13 Dance Company (pictured) offers its self-described Indian Bollywood-Tech and Lamonte "Tailz" Goode brings break dancing to the party. More traditional dance forms from Ireland, Mexico and Armenia are on tap from by Cleary Irish Dance, Ballet Folklorico Dancers of L.A., and Nairi Armenian Dancers of L.A. After intermission, the host company serves up selections from Middleton's rendition of The Nutcracker ballet. The evening promises a sampling of a half dozen of L.A.'s laudable dance troupes with an admirable nod to the cultural diversity of both dance and this fair city.
