For the past six years, Dani Klein Modisett's labor of love has been the semi-regular evening of parentally inspired storytelling known as Afterbirth. For this installment, Mo Gaffney, Caroline Aaron, screenwriters Kayla Alpert and Deborah Kaplan, Aliasexecutive producer John Eisendrath, and possible comic genius Dana Gould expound on the diaper oeuvre. Shares Gould: "My children are from China. When people ask me why I adopted, I always look at my family: There's the guy who still lives in the basement, the girl with the tattooed back, the biker, the boozer, the guy with the dead tooth. Hmm? I guess I adopted because genetically, my balls are full of poison."
